9 Edmonton Winter-Patios to Bundle Up for This Winter

Just because there is snow on the ground doesn’t mean that you have to skip the patio. Hot drinks, blankets, layers – you can tackle the local winter patios and have a great time, as long as you’re bundled up.

Not sure where to start? The Winter Excitement guide has shared a list of nine winter patios that you can explore all year long, regardless of the temperature – and get a whole new take on winter drinks.

Here are nine Edmonton winter patios to explore:

Bistro tables / City Hall Plaza
Grab a drink from one of the nearby cafes and enjoy the gorgeous scenery festivals, and winterscape. It’s the perfect place to have a bit of a break after you’ve finished skating at city hall.

Café Bicyclette (8627 Rue Marie Anne Gaboury (91) Street NW)
There’s a reason this is one of our favourite patios during the summer – and that doesn’t have to change once the snow starts to accumulate. Grab a cup of that delicious hot chocolate all year round!

Culina Muttart / Muttart Conservatory
It’s warm inside, but that doesn’t mean you’ve got to stay in there. With plenty of drink options to warm you up, you can head outside for a delicious change of pace.

Dogwood Café / Victoria Golf Course
Gorgeous scenery will make you feel like you’ve entered a winter wonderland when you bundle up and hit up the patio at the Victoria Golf Course.

Latitude 53 Parka Party in February (10242 – 106 Street NW)
This is one party that you’re not going to want to miss. Stay tuned for the details of this fun event that will take you outside this winter!

Little Brick (10004 – 90 Street NW)
Quaint counter-serve featuring coffee, pastries & sandwiches will have you amidst plenty of delicious food and drink options on the winter patio at Little Brick – plus, you can’t beat the location!

The Billiard Club (10505 – 82 Avenue NW)
This is one of the winter patios that wasn’t on our radar but now that it is – we think it’s the perfect place to enjoy the community with a beverage in the winterscape!

Urban Green Café (River Valley Adventure Co.)
There’s a great way to explore outside at Louise McKinney Park with many of the adventures, but now, you can take that to an entirely new level and enjoy the patio outside before or after one of your adventures.

Wild Earth Zoo / Valley Zoo
There’s always magic at the zoo during the winter season, and now you can be the first to experience it. Take a delicious bowl of their soup outside for a new way to enjoy your lunch, or grab a cup of coffee.
