The Downtown HolidayLight Up is Coming to Rice Howard Way
New this year, the Downtown Holiday Light Up is coming to Rice Howard Way. You can experience the magic to kick off the holiday season in Edmonton with a lantern-making workshop, cabane a sucre, live music, roasted chestnuts and a Christmas market.
Here are five things you’re not going to want to miss at the Downtown Holiday Light Up
Find an art installation! The festival will feature displays from local artists Tessa Stamp, GABS, About Light, Vignettes and The Works.
Make your own Lantern workshop with GABS (the creator of the giant Polar bear lantern!) at the Warming Hut, at Edmonton City Centre, Street Level.
Snack on free snacks – Roasted chestnuts at Dalla Tavloa Zenari, maple taffy from Canadian Maple Shack on Rice Howard Way and hot beverages while supplies last. Plus, guests will get a sweet discount at CRAFT Beer Market.

It’s easier than ever to make holiday magic. Visit the Edmonton Downtown Holiday Light Up on December 3, 2022 and park for free at Edmonton City Centre East Parkade (102a Avenue/100 Street) between 10:00am and 9:00pm on December 3.
