There’s a Pop-up Ramen Shop Coming to Dorinku Osaka

There’s a pop-up ramen shop coming to the back of Dorinku Osaka. The hidden space in the back of our favourite Japanese hotspot is going to be serving up ramen, with pop up dates throughout the winter. Tenjin is a brand new addition to Dorinku Osaka’s back corner, perfect for a winter warm up downtown.

You can find the first pop up starting this weekend, November 19th, and 20th, between 11:30am, and 3:30pm.

What’s on the Pop-up ramen menu?

Tonkatsu: signature pork broth, pork chashu, green onions and umami-dare

Shio: signature tonkatsu pork broth, pork chashu, green onions, umami-dare, sesame seed, umami salt.

Miso: signature tonkatsu pork broth, Japanese miso, pork chashu, green onions, umami-dare

Ramen toppings include: kae-dama (noodle refills), the works, extra chashu, green onion, kikurage mushrooms, soft boiled egg and nori.

Sides include rice and chashu, and the dessert matcha pudding has us excited to get our hands on the full experience. Sake, Ramune, and Asahi round will keep your thirst quenched.

Find the pop up in the back of Dorinku Osaka at 10328 Jasper Ave. Follow @tenjin.yeg for updates for the latest ramen pop-up to hit Edmonton, and to learn about how you can get a free bowl of ramen to celebrate the opening weekend.
