This Summer You Can Have a Twilight Picnic at the Botanic Gardens
Twilight Picnics are back at University of Alberta Botanic Gardens. This iconic summer picnic experience in Edmonton is available Friday and Saturday Nights at the gardens.
What’s included in the Twilight picnic box for two?
Your box will contain a beautiful assortment of savory and sweet goodies (proteins, breads, dips, fresh seasonal fruit, vegetables, dessert and more). Offerings will change slightly with the seasons and are subject to availability. Boxes, plates and utensils are made of sustainable, compostable materials. (Vegetarian options are available for the picnic box)
The date night picnic box is $125 and includes admission for two into the gardens.
Planning your Botanic Garden Twilight Picnic Date
Choose your picnic date on the website, here. You can even customize your picnic experience.
Visit the gardens between 5-7pm on your selected date to pick up your picnic spot (Don’t forget to bring a blanket)
Wander the gardens, and choose the perfect spot for your picnic
Hint: pick a spot near the bar carts for easy access to summer drinks. You can picnic anywhere in the Garden but the bar carts will only be available in the Kurimoto Japanese Garden and the Aga Khan Garden.
Watch the sunset, you’ll have until 10pm to wander and enjoy the garden experience.
