Here’s What to Drink at Honi Honi Tiki Lounge in Edmonton

Note: We experienced Honi Honi at a soft opening, it isn’t yet open (but should be by the end of the month!)

Honi Honi Tiki Lounge is opening soon in Ice District. From the moment you walk into the lounge, you’ll find a classic curated collection of decor and a cocktail menu filled with strong, wonderful tiki concoctions.

Honi Honi Tiki Lounge is divided into three parts: Honi Honi tiki classics, Honi Honi house highballs and Honi Honi house cocktails. We drank our way through a respectable portion of the tiki classics, and house cocktails, enjoying: Honi Honi, Hurricane, Blue Marlin, Teak Tok Famous and the Tiki Snaqs shots.

When we’re talking local cocktails, the 88’ Zombie is one of the best bang for your buck, strong cocktails in Edmonton - at $22 for a strong pour of four ounces, it’s an alcohol-forward yet easily drinkable cocktail.

What’s on the Honi Honi Tiki Lounge classic Tiki Menu?

Honi Honi Wild Turkey, Dry curacao, Almond Orgeat, Lime

Mai Tai Appleton 8yr Jamaican Rum Blend, Dry Curacao, Orgeat, Lime

The '88’ Zombie Mount Gay Black Barrel, Appleton 8yr, Lemon Hart 151, Donn’s

Jungle Bird Goslings Black Seal, Campari, Pineapple, Lime, Demerara

Hurricane Mount Gay XO, Fassionola, Lime

Chartreuse Swizzle Green Chartreuse, Pineapple, Lime, Falemum

Rum Barrel El Dorado 3 yr, El Dorado 8yr, Lemon Hart 151, Vanilla, Molasses, Allspice

Blue Marlin Rum Agricole, Plantation 3yr, Blue Cointreau, Maraschino, Orgeat, Lime, Lemon

Don’t sleep on the Tiki Snaqs. These pineapple flavoured shots go down as simple as shot of pineapple juice, and are a delicious, delicious way to snag in between cocktails. At three for fifteen bucks, the Tiki Snag quickly made it into our top five ‘round of shots at Edmonton cocktail bars’.

Honi Honi is a welcome addition to Ice District/104th area Downtown Edmonton, located at 10262 103 St NW. Follow Honi Honi Tiki Lounge on Instagram at @honihonitkilounge.
