Flying Canoe Volant Festival (All weekend)
In the spirit of a great winter city, the Flying Canoë Volant is a creative, interactive, cultural event, designed to celebrate local history and everything that is great about a long winter’s night. Inspired by the legend of The Flying Canoe and French Canadian, First Nations and Métis traditions, this event celebrate Edmonton’s beautiful Mill Creek Ravine and the French Quarter. Come celebrate your inner voyageur with light, music, legends and dance!

Dancing is BACK at The Common
Friday March 4 sees the return of Edmonton stand outs Better Living DJs and Seelo, featuring special guests Mikey Wong, and a b2b set featuring Gatsby & Haha. Tickets are $10 in advance via Eventbrite.

Catch a Show: Scenic Route to Alaska
Friday, March 4th will be all about having a great time! We highly encourage you to broaden your concert experience, by joining us in advance at The Races. Or you could expand your adventure even further by exploring the entire Flying Canoë Volant site of La Cité Francophone, Rutherford School Yard and the Mill Creek Ravine, with your final destination being your cozy, reserved seat at the Edmonton Ski Club for the Scenic Route to Alaska Concert.

A&N Experience (SkirtsAFire)
Designed by Vignettes and home to our Cabaret Stage, the Army & Navy is our newest festival venue where you can experience interactive art installations, design, and live performances! Doors will be open 1 hour before performances for Installation Gallery viewing by donation.

SkirtsAFire HerArts Festival (All weekend)
Founded in 2012, SkirtsAfire is a 10 day theatre and multidisciplinary arts offering that empowers, develops, supports and showcases women and non-binary artists. Be stirred and inspired by our wide variety of programming including theatre, music, dance, comedy, visual art, spoken word, workshops, design and more – all featuring women and non-binary artists. Taking place in various venues in the heart of Old Strathcona, be sure to catch our MainStage play, “Ayita” by Teneil Whiskeyjack, in the ATB Arts Barns, our comedy and music series surrounded by art installations at the Army & Navy, and pop-up performances and visual art in various businesses on Whyte. There’s lots to see and do at SkirtsAfire, take it all in!
